SALES APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

DUTIES INCLUDE
- Respond to and oversee all incoming instrument sale leads.
- Maintain communication for instrument purchases.
- Travel to tradeshows and inform attendees of the company’s instruments and services.
- Travel to client locations for instrument demo and show presentations on-site.
- Prepare and send quotes for full instrument systems.
- Meet and exceed sales target set for Nanovea S.A. de C.V.
- Communicate internally with client feedback for future product development.
- Collaborate with headquarter manager to set realistic annual sales goals.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.
- Oversee company’s accounting needs and communicate with company accountant and company headquarters to ensure documentation and compliance with local government.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation ability.
- Excels in Problem-Solving.
- Attention to details.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to travel mostly domestically up to 35% of the time.
- Succeeds in self-management to achieve high sales level.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred License/Bachelor’s in Materials or Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred 3– 5 years of related experience in sales of advanced instrumentation or in sales of custom instrumentation requiring good understanding of client’s applications in relation to the product offering.
- Good knowledge of mechanical properties of materials is a plus. Knowledge of metrology is also a plus.
- A valid passport.
- A valid driver’s license.
