A fim de melhorar a ader\u00eancia deste revestimento ao substrato, o stent \u00e9 projetado em diferentes formas. Especificamente neste estudo, o revestimento de pol\u00edmero se localiza no fundo da ranhura do fio da malha, o que traz um enorme desafio para a medi\u00e7\u00e3o da ades\u00e3o. Uma t\u00e9cnica confi\u00e1vel \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria para medir quantitativamente a resist\u00eancia interfacial entre o revestimento de pol\u00edmero e o substrato met\u00e1lico.
