Dependendo dos ciclos geol\u00f3gicos das rochas, as rochas podem sofrer transforma\u00e7\u00f5es e s\u00e3o normalmente classificadas em tr\u00eas tipos principais: \u00edgneas, sedimentares e metam\u00f3rficas. Essas rochas apresentam diferentes composi\u00e7\u00f5es minerais e qu\u00edmicas, permeabilidades e tamanhos de part\u00edculas, e tais caracter\u00edsticas contribuem para sua variada resist\u00eancia ao desgaste. rocha foram avaliados pelo Trib\u00f4metro NANOVEA T50 usando o M\u00f3dulo de Desgaste Pin-on-Disc. Uma bola de Al2O3 (6 mm de di\u00e2metro) foi usada como contra-material. A trilha de desgaste foi examinada usando o perfil\u00f4metro sem contato NANOVEA ap\u00f3s os testes. Os par\u00e2metros de teste est\u00e3o resumidos abaixo.<\/p><p>A taxa de desgaste, K, foi avaliada usando a f\u00f3rmula K=V\/(F\u00d7s)=A\/(F\u00d7n), onde V \u00e9 o volume desgastado, F \u00e9 a carga normal, s \u00e9 a dist\u00e2ncia de deslizamento, A \u00e9 a \u00e1rea da se\u00e7\u00e3o transversal da trilha de desgaste e n \u00e9 o n\u00famero de revolu\u00e7\u00f5es. A rugosidade da superf\u00edcie e os perfis dos rastros de desgaste foram avaliados com o perfil\u00f4metro \u00f3ptico NANOVEA, e a morfologia dos rastros de desgaste foi examinada usando um microsc\u00f3pio \u00f3ptico.<\/p><p>Observe que a bola de Al2O3 como contra-material foi usada como exemplo neste estudo. A amostra de calc\u00e1rio apresentou valores mais baixos de H e E, medindo 0,53 e 25,9 GPa, respectivamente, em contraste com o m\u00e1rmore, que registrou valores de 1,07 para H e 49,6 GPa para E. A variabilidade relativamente maior nos valores de H e E observados no A amostra de calc\u00e1rio pode ser atribu\u00edda \u00e0 sua maior heterogeneidade superficial, decorrente de suas caracter\u00edsticas granuladas e porosas.<\/p><p>A evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do COF durante os testes de desgaste das duas amostras de rocha est\u00e1 representada na FIGURA 2. O calc\u00e1rio inicialmente experimenta um r\u00e1pido aumento no COF para aproximadamente 0,8 no in\u00edcio do teste de desgaste, mantendo este valor durante toda a dura\u00e7\u00e3o do teste. Esta mudan\u00e7a abrupta no COF pode ser atribu\u00edda \u00e0 penetra\u00e7\u00e3o da bola de Al2O3 na amostra de rocha, resultante de um r\u00e1pido desgaste e processo de rugosidade que ocorre na face de contato dentro da trilha de desgaste.
